Darkhorse Cargo, Inc. is the culmination of Bryan Johnson’s lifelong cargo trailer career. For more than 35 years, Bryan worked for various manufacturers building their trailer models while also developing personal relationships with customers, suppliers and employees. It’s those relationships that led to the formation of Darkhorse Cargo.
The trailer industry has experienced a lot of change over the last few years. Highly volatile commodity costs and tariffs have chased numerous manufacturers out of business. Consolidations have shifted the focus from the customer to the board room. And manufacturer-owned retail sales lots have caused a conflict of interest for trailer builders and their dealers.
At Darkhorse, you, the customer, are our priority. We have assembled a tremendous team of experienced management, sales and production people who share a commitment to building the trailers you want. And we also fully support the independent dealer network which means no company-owned sales lots.
